Matěj Bulant holds master’s degrees in Political Science, Ethnology, History, and Geography, and earned his Ph.D. in Anthropology.
He has worked in several national education institutions, where he managed large-scale reform projects and led expert teams focused on curriculum and lifelong learning. From 2023 to 2024, he coordinated the development of new national curriculum frameworks for preschool and primary education.
He currently serves as the Secretary of the National Curriculum Council, helping to guide the implementation of curriculum reform. Alongside his public sector experience, he is preparing to launch a network of innovative secondary schools in the Czech Republic that will connect education with real-world challenges and inspire students to become active creators of change.
