The CEE Program usually takes places in Vienna.

Yes, absolutely! The only pre-condition is for you to join all the 7 modules, held on Fridays and Saturdays over the period of 9 months. Additionally, we have pre-readings in preparation for an upcoming module and small exercises, which won’t take much of your time.

Yes, selected Ashoka Fellows can participate free-of-charge in the program.

If you cannot afford to pay the full price but would really like to attend, please let us know via the application form that you would need a stipends.

We have three different types of stipends (7,500€, €5,000 or 2,500€) available for leaders from the foundation-, corporate- and NGO-sector. We will screen the applications and inform if and for which you are eligible. For updates on our stipend opportunities please visit our News page.

For people living in Austria, several grants are available. Check the Central-Europe page for all information.

In the case of cancellation of registration within 21 days prior to commencement of the Visionary Program a cancellation fee in the amount of 30% of the tuition fees must be paid.

If cancellation of registration does NOT occur 21 days prior the commencement, or if the Visionary Program is not pursued by the participant for any reason whatsoever, then there shall be no legal claim to a refund of the tuition fees.

All your colleagues are welcome to apply and will be notified about their eligibility. Please note that we only have 30 spots available per region and year.

A couple of weeks before the Kick-Off event and the first module, you will receive the Welcome package with the biographies of the other participants

We are respecting the local sanitary regulations, and we always ask our participants if they feel safe.

All 7 modules are mandatory, since they represent Ashoka’s six core values and the experience of the organisation. However, you can miss one module for exceptional and justified reasons.

Yes, the program is open to everyone. The locations are accessible. Please do reach out to us at vpcee@ashoka.org, if you have a specific question!

All participants will have access to the materials of the seven modules of the program as well as additional resources from the Ashoka community.

Speakers and participants are mainly coming from the respective region of the program (Central and Eastern Europe, Mediterranean or East Africa). Thus, we recommend applying in the region in which you are working and aiming to create social impact. However, please give yourself a chance and apply – even if you’re unsure!
