David Hudelist

Project Coordinator at Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation - 'fairplay initiatve'

David Hudelist is a project manager at VIDC – Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation. He works in the department of fairplay, the initiative for diversity and anti-discrimination in Sport. There, he is responsible for social inclusion, education and projects in the Western Balkans.

David studied social work at the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences and the University of Ljubljana as well as sociology at the University of Vienna. He led the anti-racism activities and fan work during the UEFA EURO 2008 in Klagenfurt. From 2012 to 2015 he established the coordination office for social preventive fan work. In the past years he is managing the Westen Balkan projects of the fairplay Initiative in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia and leading the European project “Sport Together” with further partners in (Northern)Ireland. He is a football trainer and player, mountain guide, health and vital coach, sport coach at the University Sports Institute (USI) and organises sports camps for students, kids and youth.
