Here is how Module 4 of Visionary Program went

𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘁, 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿?

That was the focus of Module 4 in our Visionary Program.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀:
– 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 – sometimes that means letting go of control and supporting others to lead.
– 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – many impactful social entrepreneurs have lean teams and focus on enabling others.
– 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 (“𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀”) 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 (“𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵/𝘄𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗲” 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆) – like governments or large organizations.
– 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.

We were inspired by Ashoka Fellows Sonja Betschart (WeRobotics), who’s built a global network of FlyingLabs led by local innovators, and Johannes Lindner, who’s spread entrepreneurship education across Austria and beyond through collaboration with government and educators.
We ended the day with a Lindy hop dance session – a reminder that social innovation can be joyful and contagious!
