Sumita is the Project Manager at the Zero Project. She works on research, management of the Zero Project’s network and database, as well as website management.
As Project Manager, Sumita will also be involved with the team to develop reports for the Zero Conference, as well as ensure that the conference is a memorable one for all participants.
Her past experience includes working in Singapore on disability policies and legislation, development of United Nations reporting mechanisms and papers, as well as advocating for a more inclusive space in Singapore and ASEAN.
In 2018, she was also featured as part of the Singapore Committee for UN Women’s “In Their Own Words” #HeForShe campaign that promotes gender equality in Singapore.
