Nilton Rubio works for S.C.S. Armonia Work Onlus as Innovation and Sustainability Coordinator in Italy. He was born in São Paulo, Brazil, studied Mechanical Engineering at the ETEP-University in São José dos Campos, attended MBA at the IBMEC and a Master Coach at Brazilian Coach Society, both in São Paulo. He moved to Italy and start a Master’s Degree in customs tax planning for foreign trade and business internationalization, at Niccolò Cusano University, Roma.
He started his professional career as a Product Development Engineer and after fourteen years in automotive companies, managing projects for the national and international market, he changed her career path to run his own business as an importer in the pharmaceutical market.
During those years as a Commercial Director, he worked with supplier development and external relationship, business management, negotiation and strategic planning. Responsible for feasibility import studies and new business unit’s installation achieved great company growth. Today he challenges himself to develop new projects for creating a sustainable and replicable business within the reality of social cooperatives and is satisfied that his professional career has put him on the path to being able to carry out another great project.
