During his study Matthias started as software developer in an Austrian bank. He worked on database applications for the risc management and other data driven projects. When his daughter was born he switched from Vienna to Lower Austria and worked on databases for legal compliance, work flow management and customer driven individual projects. Further in his career he was project manager and key account manager in the automotive area.
In this position he lead projects for several ministries as well as other state organizations. He was technical project leader for projects with the European Commission. Currently he is expert for software projects and social innovation in the Austrian Research Promotion Agency. He consulted the European Commission and several states and public organizations in India about the introduction of low barrier innovation measurements. In 2017 he co-leaded the national wide pilot funding schema „Impact Innovation“for projects with innovations which are not based on research and development. Matthias is engaged as member of the board and share holder in non profit organisations.
