Markus Raffer graduated from a Commercial Academy specialising in I.T. After this, he subsequently completed his law studies with a focus on commercial law at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz, where he also worked at the Institute of Finance Law.

Markus has been a managing partner at Tec-Innovation since 2014 (following his judicial practice). Tec-Innovation developed the InnoMake, the worldwide first smart shoe for detecting obstacles.

Markus responsibilities include Business Development, Finance & Sales and he brings the user perspective directly into the company due to his severe visual impairment (residual vision below four percent).

Markus also supports the MVG in inclusion and CSR issues. The MVG makes every 6th day a person with disability to an entrepreneur. Markus is also lecturer at a university of applied sciences in Vienna, consults a big Austrian bank in accessibility issues and is co-founder of the Austrian association of entrepreneurs with disabilities.
