Markéta is working in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic as a head of unit responsible for supporting social innovation projects with ESF.
Markéta enjoys supporting people and institutions that are keen to constantly learn and improve services for their clients to sustainably improve their situation. Efficient public services and evidence-based decision making is another area of interest that Marketa and her team supports through ESF projects.
Before joining Ministry of Labour in 2005, she worked in the European Commission, Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and consultant companies.
“Thanks to the program I began to transform my role as head of unit at the ministry - despite all the limitations that public sector implies. I introduced non-hierarchical management and the topic of systems change to our team. Now we have a highly motivated team and, I dare to say, we use public money more effectively to support social innovation and cultivate multistakeholder collaboration in Czechia.”
