Katharina Okulski holds a master’s degree in History of Art from the University of Vienna and an Erasmus Mundus master’s degree in Euroculture from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, and the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In 2014, Katharina joined the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) Foundation as Head of scholarship programme. She has also been interim Managing Director of the EFA Foundation for seven months.

Before joining the EFA, Katharina worked as project manager for the österreichische kulturdokumentation in Vienna, where she coordinated EU projects dealing with cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue. She has also worked with the Canadian Embassy in Vienna, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Cracow, the civil society initiative “A Soul for Europe” in Berlin and other initiatives in Europe and Canada. Katharina also voluntarily engaged with initiatives such as the European Youth Parliament, the Young Citizens Danube Network, or the Young Leaders Programme between Austria and China.
