Giannis Vikas is a social entrepreneurship development officer at Athens Development and Destination Management Agency. For the past 4 years he has been engaged in the management and implementation of projects related to social entrepreneurship support and he has been involved in business consulting of social enterprises, design of educational programs on social entrepreneurship and research of the social and solidarity economy ecosystem.
He is Chief Editor at Social Economy Journal of Cooperative Studies Institute in Greece and a postdoctoral research fellow at Harokopio University of Athens in the field of social entrepreneurship and social innovation.
He holds a PhD in the field of green entrepreneurship from Harokopio University of Athens, an MBA from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Bachelor Degree from Piraeus University, Department of Business Administration.
