Eghosa Erhumwunse is a seasoned development and humanitarian professional with over 18 years of leadership experience in child protection, youth development, empowerment, and community development across Nigeria. He currently serves as the National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Nigeria, where he leads strategic planning, programme implementation, and multi-stakeholder partnerships to advance the rights and well-being of vulnerable children and families.

Eghosa brings deep expertise in results-based management, safeguarding, and organizational governance, having played a central role in policy development and institutional strengthening efforts within and outside the SOS Children’s Villages federation. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he also holds advanced training in adaptive leadership from Harvard Kennedy School and a Master’s degree in Project Development and Implementation from the University of Ibadan.

Eghosa is passionate about systems change and inclusive leadership, and actively contributes to academic and practitioner dialogue through published research and training facilitation. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD) Nigeria and the Nigeria Association of Social Workers.
