Since 2015, Alexander Kesselring is program manager at Ashoka. He works on the topics of scaling impact, cross-border replication & transfer, impact investment and climate protection. Alexander studied sociology and philosophy at the University of Vienna with a focus on sociological theories and social change. From 2006 to 2014 he worked as a researcher at the Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) in Vienna. In 2015, he completed the certificate course “Advanced Business Planning” at Danube University Krems with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation management.

Ashoka is a global NGO that has been helping social entrepreneurs spread their impact for 40 years. The global Ashoka network currently comprises more than 3,600 social entrepreneurs who stand out for their particularly innovative and effective approaches. Ashoka is active in over 40 countries.
