Madeleine Pawlowicz
Project Lead Saving Angel, Germany
Categories: NGOs, Participants
Madeleine Pawlowicz is the project lead at the German foundation Saving an Angel, which is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children in crisis regions. Together with an established international network of partners, she develops and manages the foundation’s projects, oversees funding, and leads its communications and public relations work.
Since 2018, Saving an Angel has been active in Ukraine, focusing on creative and trauma-informed support for children affected by war. Most recently, the foundation opened the UNHIDE Hub near Kyiv – a house of creativity where children can express themselves freely, process trauma through art, and rediscover a sense of safety and hope.
Madeleine also coordinates humanitarian aid for a children’s home south of Kyiv, supporting around 200 children. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability Management and a Certificate in Foundation Management and is deeply committed to the belief that creativity can unhide the strength, voice, and resilience within every child.
