Diana Filimon

Diana Filimon is an Ashoka Fellow and president of Forum Apulum Association, a civic NGO she founded to work with young people on education and journalism in Romania. Driven by her belief in democracy, tolerance, and inclusion, Diana creates projects that empower youth and strengthen civic values.

Her initiatives now reach millions of young people monthly throughout Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, inspiring a new generation committed to democratic values. Globally she has trained and mentored activists from across 5 continents.
